Congratulations on entrusting Nate and NSI Agency to handle your insurance needs!

I want to briefly walk you through how to get successfully enrolled with your carrier to preserve all discounts, as well as some general housekeeping/faq’s. Don’t worry, I have the attention span of a 5-year-old, so I promise to be to the point😊

Where should I start?

By now you should have received emails directly from your best suited carrier, to invite you to register online to manage and access your policy. If you didn’t see it check your spam/junk mail folder and email me if you didn’t see anything. You’ll want to create a user account, enroll in in electronic mail options and on the autos, enroll in their mileage use program. Email or call me with any questions. Once you’ve done that you should also download their ap so you always have up to date id cards at your fingertips.

Anything special on my home policy?

On your home coverage, you will often be contacted by a 3rd party company that comes to measure up the exterior of the home to ensure we have adequate coverage to rebuild. It’s nothing you have to be there for, they are primarily confirming the square footage and structure type.

Prior Insurance Refund Due?

If you were paid ahead on your prior insurance policy you should expect your money back within 10 business days. If you paid that premium with a credit card or routing/account# they will generally credit it back through the same method. If it’s been 2 weeks check back with me, unless you never completed the cancellation form, then we need to start there😊

What if I need to make a policy change?

Please call or email me to change vehicles, add drivers, update address or any other coverage questions you might have. That way I can make sure we maximize discounts for you.

Why did my bill change?

There are a lot small things that can change the bill slightly, and often I can correct it pretty easily. If this is 3rd accident in 3 weeks, chances are I should search out a better option for you😊Since I am an independent agency, I always have a number of options to compare for you. I simply shop the best terms for you and I check those at each renewal for you as well. I’m thinking about filing a claim?

If it’s 3 am and your house is on fire, get out of the house and call appropriate emergency services first. In non-emergency situations please call or email me first. I can best advise you on what route to go. My first concern is how to best help you. My second is how to help you best prevent any premium impact. If this is an after-hours event and you need immediate help, I would call the 800 number on the policy or check my claims page at insuremeez.com, which contains that contact info.
